The agreement

These terms cover your use of UpandOut and this website, both provided by Treebook AS (Norway).

By using the app you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

What the app does, and what it does not promise

The app rings an alarm and ends it when you leave an area you chose. It depends on your phone letting it run, on your location permissions and on satellite positioning. Any of those can fail.

Do not rely on it alone for anything where being awake matters to your safety or to someone else. Keep a second alarm for a flight or a shift you cannot miss.

Going outside is your responsibility

The app asks you to walk outdoors, early, sometimes in the dark. You decide whether that is safe where you are and in the weather you have. Watch the traffic and mind your surroundings. We are not responsible for what happens on your walk.

Your account

Keep your sign in details to yourself. Tell us if someone else gets into your account.

We can suspend an account that is used to abuse the service or other people.

Payment

Any paid features are billed through the app store you installed from, under that store’s rules. Cancel or request a refund there.

Changes

We can change these terms. If a change matters we will say so in the app before it takes effect.
