Delete your account

From inside the app

Open Settings, then Account, then Delete account. You will be asked to confirm. This is the fastest route and it needs no waiting.

By email

If you cannot open the app, write to hello@upandout.app from the address on your account and ask for deletion. We will confirm your identity and delete it within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Your account and sign in identity. Your display handle. Every morning record you have banked, including times, distances and durations. Every photo you uploaded. Your friend connections and any invites you sent.

What stays

Anything stored only on your phone goes when you uninstall the app; we never had a copy. We keep records of payments for as long as tax law requires, because we are not allowed to delete those.

Backups roll over on a cycle, so a deleted record can persist in a backup for up to 30 days before it is gone for good.
