Delete your account

From inside the app

Open Settings, then My Account, then Delete my account. You will be asked to confirm, and the app tells you whether it worked. This is the fastest route and it needs no waiting. If you signed in with Apple, Apple asks you to confirm once more so the app is removed from your Apple ID.

If you cannot open the app, write to hello@upandout.app from the address on your account and ask for deletion. We will confirm your identity and delete it within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Your account and sign in identity. Your display handle. Every morning record you have backed up, including times, distances, durations and your morning stats. Every photo you uploaded. Your friend connections, reactions and any invites you sent. Your dictation usage count. Any record of snoozes or sick days you owe.

What stays

Anything stored only on your phone stays there until you uninstall the app or use Erase this phone on the My Account page; we never had a copy. We keep records of payments for as long as tax law requires, because we are not allowed to delete those.

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. It is billed by the App Store or Google Play, so cancel it there.

Backups roll over on a cycle, so a deleted record can persist in a backup for up to 30 days before it is gone for good.
